Women have been given free cycling shorts to prevent upskirting on a famous amusement ride at the Oktoberfest in Munich, after an investigation revealed tens of thousands of voyeuristic videos circulating online.

The Teufelsrad or Devil’s Wheel, which rapidly spins around while people try to sit on it for as long as they can, is one of the beer festival’s oldest rides. But many of the videos discovered by German journalists focus on women whose traditional dirndl dresses have ridden up, often showing their underwear.

Naar aanleiding van de verhevigde Oekraïense raket- en droneaanvallen op "burgers in Rusland en op de civiele infrastructuur" worden meer "systematische aanvallen op militaire doelen in Kyiv en andere Oekraïense steden" uitgevoerd, aldus Moskou.

Rusland waarschuwde buitenlanders eerder dit jaar ook al voor een bezoek aan Kyiv.

Diplomaten en andere buitenlanders zouden Kyiv moeten verlaten, vindt het Russische ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken. De Russische strijdkrachten zijn bezig met "massale vergeldingsaanvallen" en dat maakt het verblijf in Kyiv in de buurt van mogelijke doelwitten levensgevaarlijk.

De burgemeester van de stad, Vitali Klitsjko, noemde de toestand in Kyiv vrijdag "uiterst dramatisch" naar aanleiding van de vele Russische luchtaanvallen, met name die op de energiesector en op bruggen over de rivier de Dnjepr. Kyiv ligt op de westelijke oever.
