Paris Saint-Germain warmed up for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Bayern Munich by fielding a second-string lineup and throwing away the lead twice in a 2-2 draw with Lorient in Ligue 1.

Ibrahim Mbaye’s lucky early goal to put PSG in front at the Parc des Princes was soon cancelled out by Pablo Pagis for mid-table Lorient, but Warren Zaïre-Emery gave the hosts the lead for the second time when he scored moments after coming on as a second-half substitute.

Excelsior heeft in de Euroborg een enorme horde genomen in de strijd tegen degradatie. De thuisploeg kwam door doelpunten van Tika de Jonge en Younes Taha tweemaal op voorsprong, maar Excelsior kwam ook tweemaal langszij. In de slotfase maakte Gyan de Regt de winnende goal.

MIAMI (ANP) - Lando Norris was na afloop van zijn gewonnen sprintrace bij de Grote Prijs van Miami tevreden met zijn start van het raceweekend. "Het is fijn om weer op de hoogste trede te staan, ook al is het maar een sprintrace", zei de wereldkampioen van McLaren na zijn eerste zege van het seizoen.

"Het was een goede dag voor ons en het team heeft het geweldig gedaan met de updates", zei Norris. "Het lijkt alsof iedereen hetzelfde zegt, maar die van ons hebben dit weekend echt geholpen. Ik ben blij dat ik dit voor het team heb kunnen waarmaken."

"Het was heet en zweterig, maar ik kon blijven pushen. Ik was echter ook vrij ontspannen en maakte geen fouten. Een goede start van het weekend, maar nu moeten we het allemaal opnieuw gaan doen", keek Norris vooruit naar de hoofdrace van zondag.

Norris kwam tijdens de seizoensstart nog niet echt in de buurt van zijn prestaties van vorig seizoen, waarin hij Max Verstappen net aftroefde in de titelrace. Hij pakte 25 punten uit de eerste drie races en bezette de vijfde plaats in de WK-stand.

This “Third Eye Open Peace” mural in Naples incorporates a portrait I originally made for my Make Art Not War print back during the Iraq War. The mural is a public art companion piece to my “Power To the Peaceful” exhibition opening at Gallerie D’Italia on May 6th. I have long promoted peace through my art and activism and this mural incorporates a peace sign and peace text (PACE in Italian) while also including a third eye blooming like a flower, The third eye represents a dialogue with one’s inner self, higher consciousness, and a quest for enlightenment, all of which are essential to achieve peace and harmony. I’ve often used the phrase “eyes open-mind open” and I think “third eye open” is a similar but slightly weightier idea because it addresses looking not only outward to observe, but inward as well.
