Koning Willem-Alexander heeft de viering van Koningsdag in de Friese stad Dokkum afgesloten. Aan het einde van het programma sprak hij van een "onvergetelijke dag" en bedankte hij alle betrokkenen.

"Jullie hebben de meest onvergetelijke Koningsdag gegeven die mogelijk was", zei de koning tegen "de burgemeester, de commissaris en iedereen in Dokkum, Noardeast-Fryslân en Friesland".

"Veertig jaar geleden wist ik niet hoe snel ik weer weg moest uit Dokkum", blikte de koning terug. Willem-Alexander deed in 1986 mee aan de Elfstedentocht, die langs Dokkum loopt. "Maar deze keer zou ik niets liever willen dan nog eens terugkomen om hier weer te schaatsen. Het is zo mooi in deze prachtige stad."

De koning sloot zijn toespraak af met de woorden "Fryslân boppe", wat betekent "Friesland bovenaan".

Makeup artist Sunshine is stepping in front of the camera after first-choice model Raquel (Gigi Gustin), seen ill-advisedly nosing around a set of desert tunnels with her girlfriend in the intro, fails to show. On the hunt for locations, the fashion squad – also including caftaned photographer Jordy (Adam Bucci), pothead driver Charlie (Robert Felsted Jr), and assorted hangers-on – stumble into prime ruin-porn in the wreckage-strewn outpost of Savage. The name prompts tittering meta chat about what things might happen to them there, and they ignore folksy bystander Mama Birdy (Dazelle Yvette) when she gives them the lowdown on the town’s violent past.
