Het ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat maakt zich klaar voor vakantievluchten op Lelystad Airport in oktober 2027. Het gaat om 10.000 commerciële vluchten per jaar. Om deze vluchten te kunnen uitvoeren, wordt een laatste hand gelegd aan de regelgeving voor de luchthaven. Ook krijgen de luchtverkeersleiding, de Douane en de Koninklijke Marechaussee de opdracht zich voor te bereiden op deze vluchten. De verlening van een natuurvergunning is een voorwaarde voor het in gebruik nemen van de luchthaven voor commerciële luchtvaart, en is afhankelijk van de stikstofaanpak van het kabinet.

Iran zegt de Straat van Hormuz „volledig” te heropenen voor de commerciële scheepvaart. In elk geval gedurende het bestand tussen Israël en Libanon. Tegelijkertijd blijft de Amerikaanse blokkade van de zeestraat van kracht. De chaos op zee lijkt compleet.
