On the night of 27 July 2023, Kimberly Milne jumped to her death from a road bridge.

Her suicide came after months of mental health crises, compounded by a campaign of domestic abuse at the hands of her former partner. In this regard, to the officers who attended the scene, Kimberly’s was a depressingly familiar story.

Mikel Arteta admitted Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat by Bournemouth was “a big punch in the face” and said his players must show more character if they are going to end their 22-year wait to be crowned Premier League champions.

I'm surprised there aren't more of them, and I wonder what would be the smallest size that would work.

BERLIJN (ANP/DPA) - Piloten van luchtvaartmaatschappij Lufthansa gaan maandag en dinsdag staken, heeft vakbond Cockpit aangekondigd. De piloten staken voor een betere pensioensregeling en een nieuwe cao. Ook personeel van dochterondernemingen CityLine en Eurowings doet mee aan de actie, net als Lufthansa Cargo.

Volgens Cockpit heeft Lufthansa niet genoeg gedaan om tot een oplossing te komen in "diverse collectieve arbeidsconflicten". Vrijdag staakte het cabinepersoneel van Lufthansa, dat was de derde grote staking dit jaar bij Lufthansa. Honderden vluchten werden toen geannuleerd.

Een aantal bestemmingen naar het Midden-Oosten is uitgezonderd van de staking.
