DEN HAAG (ANP) - De nieuwe ministers en staatssecretarissen zijn maandagmiddag verwelkomd op hun ministeries door hun voorgangers. Daar hebben ze door een handtekening te zetten officieel het beheer van het ministerie overgenomen.
Bij het ministerie van Defensie ging dat gepaard met meer vertoon. Een militaire kapel speelde de pas geïnstalleerde minister Dilan Yeşilgöz (VVD) toe, is te zien op beelden van RTL Nieuws. Binnen overhandigde haar voorganger Ruben Brekelmans de vlag van het ministerie aan de politica.
"Het is voor mij thuiskomen, maar het is ook afscheid nemen", zei David van Weel toen zijn VVD-partijgenoot Foort van Oosten het gezag overdroeg over het ministerie van Justitie en Veiligheid. Van Weel was namelijk eerder al minister van Justitie en droeg op datzelfde moment zijn taken als asielminister over aan CDA'er Bart van den Brink. Die taken deelde hij overigens met Mona Keijzer. Die wilde niet ingaan op een vraag over de onrust bij haar partij BBB.

If anyone can empathise with Stéphane Gilli, it is probably Antoine Kombouaré, the man who now replaces him as Paris FC manager. Gilli had felt like a lame duck since the Arnault family took over the club midway through last season, but earning promotion to Ligue 1 at the first time of asking bought him a stay of execution. It didn’t last long. With fears of relegation growing, Kombouaré – a former lame duck turned firefighter – has taken his place.
Just like Gilli, Kombouaré too failed to fulfil the lofty ambitions of new owners; his face didn’t fit. QSI were merciless when they dispatched Kombouaré within just months of their purchase of Paris Saint-Germain in 2011; they were top of the league when he was replaced by Carlo Ancelotti. The self-proclaimed “bling bling” era had begun at PSG and, despite its flaws, there was at least a direction – which is more than can be said for Paris FC now.
