Igor Tudor says there is “no time to find excuses” as he attempts to halt Tottenham’s Premier League slide. The 47-year-old former Juventus manager, brought in last week as the sacked Thomas Frank’s replacement until the end of the season, believes instilling the players with confidence is his most important task.
“The team need, I believe, first of all, to get some confidence, to get some courage, but also, in same way, the concrete things in the pitch,” Tudor told Spursplay. “Of course, I’m coming here knowing that situation is not easy. There is no time to find excuses. What I said from the first day here, each of us need to give something something more, something extra.”

Pressure is building on Casey Wasserman, the head of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics organizing team, after the city’s mayor urged him to leave over his ties to Jeffrey Epstein’s former girlfriend.
LA mayor Karen Bass told CNN late on Monday that “my opinion is that he should step down” despite Wasserman getting support last week from the LA 2028 organizing board to stay.

De 25-jarige Friezin stelt dat de grap van haar trainer Dennis van der Gun (47) uit zijn verband is gerukt. "Wij hebben een geweldig huldiging gehad in het TeamNL Huis van mijn gouden medaille. Mijn coach Dennis heeft daar heel veel lieve woorden gezegd", vertelt ze op haar Instagram Stories. "Helaas is een grapje, die het TeamNL Huis en ik grappig vonden, online verkeerd geïnterpreteerd. Wat werkelijk nergens op slaat en gewoon goed bedoeld was. Ongelooflijk."
Ze vervolgt: "Dennis heeft een gigantisch aandeel in mijn gouden medaille. Als er iemand is bij wie ik mij compleet op mijn gemak en gerespecteerd voel als vrouw, is dat wel bij hem. Hij is een geweldige coach en mens."
