Weet u nog, januari 2020? De wereld sliep, Marion Koopmans was druk met haar make-up, maar op GeenStijl zag u al Enge Beelden van een vreemd virus uit China. En het mooie is. We voelen het weer. TEHERAN (ANP/AFP/RTR) - De Iraanse Revolutionaire Garde (IRG) heeft verklaard dat de raketaanval op Israël van zondagavond een "waarschuwing" was, een reactie op de Israëlische aanval op de Libanese hoofdstad Beiroet eerder die dag. Ook dreigde de IRG met grootschaligere aanvallen op Amerikaanse en Israëlische doelen in het geval van nieuwe agressie.

"De operatie van vanavond was een waarschuwing. Als dergelijke agressie zich herhaalt, zullen de reacties omvangrijker zijn en zich richten op alle Amerikaans-zionistische doelwitten in de regio", aldus de elitetroepen van het Iraanse leger.

Het Israëlische leger meldt intussen dat burgers in het hele land de schuilplaatsen mogen verlaten, wat erop wijst dat de dreiging van Iraanse raketten voorbij is.
