F1 has announced a multi-year extension with the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya to host a Grand Prix in 2028, 2030, and 2032, in addition to the event scheduled in 2026. From this year, the race will also be re-named as the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix.
Aston Martin have admitted they are not where they want to be following the first 2026 pre-season test in Bahrain, but there's still plenty of hope for the team's future ambitions.

Street photography captures fleeting moments that reveal how someone saw the world at a particular time. We often find ourselves sharing photographers’ current views of their cities and neighborhoods through our In Frame with Flickr posts, but today we’ve decided to take a little trip back in time.
Street photography can show us many frozen moments in time, something as nostalgic as an old school ice cream truck with the neighborhood kids gathering around but it’s also a way to preserve history, our communities, our challenges and lessons learned. Some of these scenes may feel familiar while others show us things we’ve never seen. Whether these photos spark your own memories or offer a window into an era before yours, we hope you’ll enjoy this installment of In Frame with Flickr as we explore classic street photography.

A spokesperson for Donald Huffines, a Texas businessman and former GOP state senator now running for comptroller, confirmed the purchase to the Santa Fe New Mexican, a local media outlet.

When Liz Truss tweeted a photo of herself standing next to Donald Trump, she captioned it “right about everything”. All that effort, all that security clearance and long-haul travel and whatnot, to reach the pinnacle of proximity to your spiritual leader, and that’s the best she could come up with? It was bafflingly lame. And yet the least confusing thing about this scene were the words.
What exactly is going on in this photo? Truss clearly knows where she is, because she’s grinning with a kind of victorious serenity, as if she’s finally achieved the plaudit she knew all along was hers. At the same time – not wishing to be unsisterly – she doesn’t appear to have brushed her hair, so it doesn’t feel like this photo opportunity was in anyone’s diary. It looks like a selfie you’d catch when you run into your favourite contestant from The Traitors on your way through an airport. No time to worry about your grooming; it’s the chance of a lifetime, every second counts.
Continue reading...AMSTERDAM (ANP) - De AEX-index op het Damrak is maandag vrijwel gelijk geëindigd. Bouwer Heijmans eindigde opnieuw fors hoger na de presentatie van de jaarcijfers vrijdag. In het kielzog klom BAM mee, de concurrent komt later deze week met cijfers.
Heijmans was net als vrijdag koploper van de MidKap-index. De bouwer klom ruim 10 procent. Het bedrijf had de vorige handelsweek met een stijging van meer dan 15 procent afgesloten. De winst van het bouwbedrijf is in 2025 flink gestegen en het bedrijf verwacht dat dit jaar door te zetten. Concurrent BAM klom 4,6 procent.
De AEX-index eindigde nog geen 0,1 procent lager op 993,10 punten. De MidKap steeg 1 procent tot 1014,31 punten. De DAX in Frankfurt daalde met 0,5 procent, Londen en Frankrijk stegen licht tot 0,3 procent.
DEN HAAG (ANP) - Nederland en veertien andere westerse landen staan in een verklaring stil bij het overlijden van Aleksej Navalny twee jaar geleden. Hun regeringen pleiten daarin opnieuw voor een "grondig en transparant" onderzoek naar de omstandigheden rond de dood van de Russische oppositieleider.
"Wij benadrukken dat de Russische autoriteiten uitsluitend verantwoordelijk blijven", schrijven ze. Vijf Europese landen, waaronder Nederland, meldden zaterdag na onderzoek dat Rusland Navalny heeft gedood met gif. Rusland ontkent dit. Nabestaanden zeggen al langer dat Navalny is vermoord.
In de verklaring staat dat de mensenrechtensituatie in Rusland "snel is verslechterd voorafgaand aan en sinds deze tragische gebeurtenis". De landen wijzen het Kremlin aan als schuldige en prijzen onder meer Russische mensenrechtenverdedigers die, ondanks de toegenomen risico's, hun werk voortzetten. Rusland moet volgens hen "volledig voldoen aan al zijn internationale verplichtingen en alle politieke gevangenen vrijlaten".
