DEN HAAG (ANP) - De storing waar muziekstreamingdienst Spotify woensdagmiddag mee kampte is opgelost. Dat meldt het bedrijf op het socialemediaplatform X. Op storingswebsite Allestoringen.nl is het aantal meldingen inmiddels flink afgenomen.

Door de storing hadden gebruikers van Spotify onder andere problemen met het laden van de app en website. Allestoringen.nl ontving tussen 14.00 uur en 15.00 uur duizenden meldingen.

Wat de oorzaak van de storing was, heeft Spotify niet bekendgemaakt.

ZEIST (ANP) - Werkgeversorganisaties in de horeca en detailhandel maken zich zorgen over de verhoging van het minimumjeugdloon, een van de afspraken in de voorjaarsnota. Die branches kampen al een tijd met gestegen kosten voor bijvoorbeeld loon, energie en huur. De werkgevers vrezen nog meer druk op hun toekomst door het hogere minimumjeugdloon.

"Het verhogen van lonen voor hoofdzakelijk scholieren en studenten, voor wie dit meestal een bijbaan is, pakt verkeerd uit. Vermijd maatregelen die inflatie verder in de hand werken en voor werkgevers opnieuw tot een forse verhoging van loonkosten leiden." Dit stellen INretail, de brancheorganisatie voor de non-fooddetailhandel, Koninklijke Horeca Nederland (KHN), de Raad Nederlandse Detailhandel (RND), het Centraal Bureau Levensmiddelenhandel (CBL) en het Vakcentrum, een belangenbehartiger voor zelfstandige retailondernemers.

Vakbonden en werkgevers moeten juist afspraken kunnen maken in cao's over de lonen voor jongeren, vinden de organisaties.

The Chidorigafuchi Moat near the Imperial Palace in Tokyo Japan is a very, very popular spot for Sakura, or cherry blossoms. Especially at night when they light them up. Most folks shoot pictures from the ends, to show depth along the moat. Its a very cool image to be sure. But that's not the only thing going on at this event. There is a walkway along the western side of the moat that features loads of neat locations for images. Naturally, this image is form one of those spots.
Now, I would love to stand n my high horse and say that I selected this location rather than the cliche moat view, I would like to say I was trying to be different. Nope.
I would have loved the cliche shot, but I could not get this the one night we were there. I was raining cats and dogs. The image form the end of the moat shows all the rain streaking in the image. You can't go with at slow shutter to blur the rain because you can't use tripods. So it would have been a grainy high-ISO image with water everywhere.
So, time to try to salvage the shoot. After all, I can't be in Japan all the time. I had one night for this, one shot. So what to do? Scramble. Looks for anything else that could work. I set out to try to use the rain to my advantage. Reflections. If could get 1 minute without the rain, I might be able to score a reflection form someplace.
The South side of the event had a group of trees where they set the lights to change colors on the trees. They also had the needed slightly-flooded sidewalk areas to give me the reflection I wanted. All I needed now was a human with a big clear umbrella to help tell the story of the night. This is the image I got. There are some things I would like to change about it, but all in all its just what I wanted to get. The water was not quite as still as I wanted, and i would have preferred a tripod, but I will take this.

Through colorful squiggles embedded with games, trampolines, and sculptural trees, a new public park in Guangzhou, China, re-envisions the possibilities of play.

“Wired Scape,” which design firm 100architects bills as an “an entangling forest of imagination and fun,” takes inspiration from the natural landscape to create a one-of-a-kind playground in a residential area. Trees resembling balls of colorful wire appear to spin out of the ground, and curvaceous green and blue forms reflect the interaction of land and water.

Lively trees made from pipes spiraling around central cores serve a triple purpose as climbable structures, shade-providing canopies, and supports for a series of interconnected bridges throughout the park. The overall aesthetic recalls computer-generated imagery in video games or animation.

100architects aimed to break away from traditional playground design and instead focus on the layout as a multigenerational space. Children’s imaginations are stimulated by myriad ways to jump, climb, slide, and run, while caregivers and parents have ample options for shaded seating with clear sight lines.
