Channel quietly debuts over weekend with Only in Monroe video days after Thursday’s final Late Show episode

Stephen Colbert hasn’t even been off the air for a week, but is already causing some hubbub with the launch of a new YouTube channel that has garnered more than 120,000 subscribers.

The popular late-night host, who aired his final episode of The Late Show last Thursday, quietly debuted the channel over the weekend with a single video titled: “Only In Monroe --- May 22, 2026.”

Coco Gauff said she did not receive an apology or response from the Australian Open after she was broadcast letting off steam by breaking a racket in a private area after her quarter-final loss in January.

“I mean, I didn’t get anything from my email that I know of,” Gauff said, smiling. “I know that WTA sent something, but obviously they’re different from the grand slams, just them wanting to reiterate and that they are going to talk to the slams about different private areas and things like that.”

Oliver Glasner has urged Crystal Palace to win the Conference League final so they can take up the Europa League place denied them this season after they fell foul of Uefa’s multi-club ownership rules.

Last year’s FA Cup winners were demoted to the Conference League after Uefa deemed John Textor had a controlling interest in Palace and Lyon, who had also qualified for the secondary competition. The south London club will face Rayo Vallecano in Leipzig on Wednesday night at the end of their first European campaign in Glasner’s last match.

In tegenstelling tot wat men daar denkt lijkt BlueSky in weinig op het oude Twitter, maar is het steeds meer een perfecte spiegel van X aan het worden. En ja, natuurlijk zijn mensen die uit hun stekker gaan en andere mensen anoniem lastigvallen en bedreigen ontzettend triest en vervelend, maar daaromheen zitten heel veel mensen die X als primaire nieuws- en informatiebron gebruiken, en nu zijn wij weliswaar nooit communicatiemedewerker bij de overheid geweest maar het lijkt ons dat ook zij recht hebben op nieuws en informatie van het kabinet. De keuze is vrij eenvoudig: of je zanikt nooit meer over filterbubbels en desinformatie, of je blijft als regering gewoon lekker op X. Fun fact: de reacties kun je gewoon uitzetten.
