Most people know Hirosaki for its cherry blossoms. I love it just as much after midnight.
The last train has come and gone, the shops have closed, and the city finally exhales. Standing here completely alone, it didn't feel empty—it felt peaceful. Like Hirosaki was quietly sharing a side of itself that only the night gets to see.

I've lost count of how many times I've stepped off a train in Hirosaki. Visiting Hirosaki through every season. Snow-covered platforms, cherry blossom crowds, quiet summer evenings, and colorful autumn afternoons.
But there's something special about midnight, when the station falls silent and the trains wait patiently for another day to begin.
