In z'n podcast 'Victor duidt tv' heeft de Vlaminator een nieuwe aflevering met de titel 'TIM HOFMAN ONDER VUUR OM MOGELIJK VERZWEGEN BELANG BIJ VEELBESPROKEN BOOS-AFLEVERING' - daar gaan we Chips Nootjes Bier dan eens goed voor zitten. Het gaat om dat verhaal van BOOS dat oud-profvoetballer Redouan El Yaakoubi, naast zijn voetbalcarrière eigenaar van een stichting en een bedrijf voor de talentontwikkeling van kinderen, scholen had misleid met een misleidende shuffle: de commerciële onderneming heet 'DTD' en de stichting heet 'Durf te Dromen' en scholen zouden dan niet weten met wie ze in zee waren gegaan. Heeeeeeeel interessant, echt heel interessant, bijna net zo interessant als die keer dat Redouan El Yaakoubi een regenoogbandje weigerde omdat hij lijdt aan het Syndroom van Allah.

WELNU, de Vlaminator meldt in zijn podcast dus dat Tim Hofman zelf betrokken is bij BrainBoost, een commerciële bijles- en huiswerkschool voor talentontwikkeling van jongeren. Dezelfde onderwijsmarkt als El Yaakoubi dus, die ook nog eens actief wilde worden in het verzorgingsgebied van Tim Hofman. Wat negatieve publiciteit voor El Yaakoubi zou Hofman dus niet slecht uitkomen. Vlam: "Dat is natuurlijk iets wat journalistiek gezien niet kan." El Yaakoubi heeft inmiddels een 'formele klacht' ingediend bij BNNVARA, de NPO Ombudsman en de Raad voor de Journalistiek. Sjonge jonge, wat spannend!

Nou ja luister zelf maar, veel plezier

Microsoft released its 2026 Environmental Sustainability Report showing that last year it matched its entire electricity consumption with renewable energy, reports The Register.

"The bad news is it also increased greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 25%" — mostly due to datacenter construction and a decision to stop purchasing some renewable energy certificates:

In 2020, Microsoft set itself the goal of becoming "carbon-negative" by 2030. Its own figures show emissions heading only upwards, from 13 million tons of CO2 equivalent in 2020, to 20 million tons in 2025. However, Microsoft estimates that without the carbon reduction initiatives it has already put in place, emissions would now stand at 34 million tons...

For the first time, Microsoft claims to have replenished more [water] than it withdrew during 2025, returning 14,278 million liters (3,771 million gallons). Elsewhere, the corporation says its Circular Centers program reused 92% of decommissioned servers and their components.
