rims was a family company that closed back in 2013 after being part of the Adelaide retail landscape for 75 years. It was originally established by twins Alf and John but was liquidated after mounting debts and owing $3.2 million. Justin Trim, grandson of one of the company’s co-founders, started a new business further down King William Street some months later and set about to re-establish the name as a shop specialising in workwear and including the R M Williams label.
